Science was all about roller coasters today. First we watched two video clips about the best coasters of 2015 and engineering a roller coaster to peak our curiosity about our unit. Next students worked together to research the history of roller coasters and create a Flow Map to show at least five important dates. Ask your child about the first "coasters" and the first "roller coasters". It's very interesting!
We had a student share a Franklin Finding today and continued our I Is for Invention alphabet book learning about many of the steps leading up to the computers of today for letter "C".
Probability was our last subject. We went over students' homework and review theoretical and experimental probability. They have a few more problems to practice with this week. Math is their only homework.
We crowned our first Table of the Month winner today, so students will select new tables next week.
